Man, 20, In Court For Raping Two Teenage Sisters

20-year-old man, Samuel Olamilekan, has been arraigned before an Ikeja Magistrate's court for having carnal knowledge of two teenagers from one family.
The suspect, said to be undergoing a pastoral training in one Cherubim and Serafim Church, was said to have had carnal knowledge of the little girls without their consent.
The police prosecutor, Inspector Rachael Williams, told the court that Olamilekan "had a vision for the girls who had unfamiliar spirit  and asked them to see him - so that he could cast out the spirit from them".
On getting there, Olamilekan allegedly assaulted the two young girls by beating them with broom and palm tree in order to cast out the unfamiliar spirit in them.
Olamilekan was also accused of obtaining the sum of N4,000 from them on the pretext of using it to buy candle to pray for them in order to cast out the unfamiliar spirit finally.
Williams said that the suspect committed the said offense on August 25, 2012 at about 10:00pm in the Ikeja area of Lagos.
The defendant whose residential address could not be ascertained as at the time of the arraignment is facing a three-count charge of having carnal knowledge, assault and obtaining money.
According to Williams, the offense committed contravened section 258(2) and 170 and punishable under section 258(2), of the criminal law, vol.44 No. 11, Laws of Lagos State of Nigeria 2011.
When the charges were read to him, Olamilekan pleaded not guilty, and Magistrate Olagbegi Adelabu ordered the defendant to be remanded in prison custody till further hearing.
