The FA have confirmed that Ashley Cole has been fined £90,000 for his controversial tweet, after admitting to a charge of bringing the game into disrepute in a non-personal hearing.
The Chelsea left-back was also warned over his future conduct, as the English governing body seek to crack down on inappropriate use of social media among footballers.
Cole's charge is in relation to his angry tweet in response to the official disciplinary report on the John Terry racism case, when the England international wrote: "Hahahahaa, well done #fa I lied did I, #BUNCHOFT***S"
