Malaysian Plane: 7 Theories On Disappearance Of Flight 370

As the search for what is presumed as debris of Malaysian plane continues, let’s take a look at the list of 7 probable theories of what might have happened.
The first theory involves a deliberate malicious pilot action.
The investigators of the case have searched all across the files of Captain Zaharie Ahmad Shah, aged 53, who has been the pilot for Malaysia Airlines since 1981, and his co-pilot, Abdul Hamid, aged 27, who had just started flying a 777. According to reports, Zaharie had built a flight simulator in his home, which is common for flight enthusiasts. The files were deleted from this simulator, and the investigators are trying to restore them.
This theory is considered due to the fact that the plane stopped signaling its location to the air-traffic controllers as soon as the controllers were to be handed off to Vietnam. The Vietnamese controllers were not contacted and the plane transponder was immediately shut off. At this point, the plane turned from its course and kept his flight for up to 7 hours.
The final radio contact with the pilot was with his words “All right, good night”, which is common for pilots.
There is also a theory that pilots committed suicide, due to the fact that all the tracking devices in the pilot cockpit were shut off at the same time.
Hijacking

This theory was considered when the investigators found two Iranians on board with stolen passports. However, the investigators found only facts proving that these two passengers were trying to immigrate to Europe illegally.
Moreover, from 2001 it has become almost impossible for anyone to get into the cockpit if it is closed from the inside by pilots. However, in the pilots are still able to let in anybody they like, and it had already happened with this flight in 2011, when two women spend the entire flight with pilots of Flight 370 in the cockpit.
Sudden catastrophe
According to the aviation experts, there may have been an accident or breakage during the flight. There may have been a bomb, a failure of engine or an airframe. However, in case this would have happened, there would have been debris on the spot where the transponder went off. Moreover, pieces of the plane would have been caught by radars.
Fire
A fire from hazardous cargo, from electric appliances or equipment could have caused the communication system to shut down. Moreover, the smoke might have caused damage to the pilots and even render them unconscious.
Decompression
A decompression, both slow and sudden, that results in loss of oxygen, might have killed everybody on board of the plane. However, an automated warning would have dropped the oxygen masks and tell everyone to put them on, and to decrease the height of the flight.
Moreover, in case the decompression took place, the plane would have continued flying towards Beijing and be caught by radars again.
Hidden plane
There have been theories that the plane was hijacked, hidden at some small remote airport, and: 1) the passenges might be hostages; 2) the plane might later be used as a missile loaded with fuel and explosives; 3) there might have been something very valuable on board. However, a plane this big would have required a very skillful pilot to be landed at a small airport, moreover, the plane would have been caught by radars of several countries.
A shoot-down
The plane could have been shot down by military of one of the countries on the planned route of the plane and on the way it went when it changed its course.
However the families of passengers of the missing plane are still hoping to find the answers and some are even refusing to believe their relatives are gone.
