"At a wedding yesterday. Lovely ceremony, slightly marred by the bride and groom splitting up less than 2 hours later. No, really.— Nick Pritchard (@nmpritchard) March 23, 2014"
As soon as Nick Pritchard, from Derby, posted the above mesage about the wedding in Gretna Green, Scotland, he was inundated by users eager to know what had happened.
@LFBarfe Seriously! Falling out as we sat down to eat. Bride and groom stormed off. Cue massive row between families. Awkward.—

Twitter wasn’t yet finished, with users even specifically following Mr Pritchard to get the full details.
‘That is impressive. Are they reconciled or still feuding?,’Lucy Freeman asked.
Mr Pritchard responded: ‘Still feuding as far as I know. Left them to it last night.’
More questions revealed the wedding cake had remained uncut, the speeches hadn’t been made and there was a ‘massive row’ between the two families.
Who says true love doesn’t conquer all? Here is the latest update tweeted by Pritchard:
"Hearing that against all odds a rapprochement may now be under way. More news as we get it.—
