According to the American artiste, she would reveal the title, tracklist, artwork and music all at once through a standalone digital release, which is expected to happen very soon.
It was gathered that Carey will team up with a digital outlet to distribute the album, but insisted that she needs to be the person who makes the announcement.
"I have to be the one that announces this, especially the title," Carey told Billboard, adding that the record is named after a "personal possession of mine that's part of an entity that I've had almost all my life."

However, it has not yet been confirmed whether previous singles 'Triumphant', '#Beautiful', 'The Art Of Letting Go' or 'You're Mine (Eternal)' will feature on the record.
The beautiful music goddess also revealed that a physical version of the album will follow a week after the digital release.
It could be recalled that this strategy could be likened to Beyoncé's shock new album release back in December, which saw her sell millions of records worldwide in a matter of days.
