According to the UK Mirror, for two years George Dalmon and Andy Miles were regulars at the GOBi Mongolian barbecue eatery, demolishing five bowls of stir fry at a single sitting.

But finally GOBi's boss had too much and barred them, claiming they were eating into his profits and driving him out of business.

"Basically they just come in and pig out," he said. "I've had enough. We are not a charity, we're a business."

Diners pay £12 a head and then collect food from a buffet, which the chef cooks on the spot.

"They are in such a hurry to beat everyone to the food they spoil everything," said the manager of the Brighton restaurant, who did not want to be named.

"We are supposed to be a buffet but they eat everything out of the bowls before people can get there."

According to The Mirror both George and Andy said GOBi should stick to its all-you- can-eat promise.

George said: "They've only got small bowls and you can't get enough in there so we always go back for more.

"Suddenly the owner came to our table and went absolutely mental.

"He said we were a couple of pigs and we were banned for life."
