Tall, dark and handsome Ghanaian actor, John Dumelo has
lavished educational scholarships on two students of the University of
Ghana. The 'I Am About To Wed' actor, in his quest to contribute to the

Aid Office of the university located in Legon, Ghana. This amount was
given to the two brilliant but indigent students. This was to aid the

John said before the presentation, "we
are paying for two university students; one Medical student and one
Theatre Arts student. We are sponsoring both to undergo the whole
university education."
The Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. James
K. Adomako thanked the actor for his kind gesture. The Head of Students
Financial Aid Office of the school, Mrs. Christine Baning also thanked
the actor and promise her office would administer the scholarship on the
new admitted students.

of his J.Melo clothing line that he would use 20 percent of funds
generated from his business to support his foundation which was launched
on the same day. John said he hopes to increase the number of
scholarships to 50 students in the next five years.
John also
hopes to extent this gesture to his alma maters; Kwame Nkrumah
