Today is the birthday of Nollywood golden boy “Jim Iyke”, he is known for his lovely smiles and unique acting style that makes him one of the biggest male stars in Nollywood today.
Jim Iyke was born James Ikechukwu Isemoa, (the final name meaning “unique”) in Libreville,Gabon to Mr & Mrs Esomugha, and had his primary education in Gabon before coming down to Nigeria to complete his secondary school.
Jim Iyke is a man of style and elegance as he is usually decked up in different classy attires both on and off screen, and the multitalented actor believes “A Man should always dress the way he wants to be addressed”.
He featured in his first movie in 2001, and hasn’t looked back since, featuring in over 150 films since then, and recently launched his own production outfit “Untamed Productions”. Some of his recent movies are: My First Wife(2011), I Quit, Kings Battle, Life In Newyork, and most of these movies can be found on the internet.
The Actor, Model and businessman went into music under his own record label “Untamed Records”, and produced a successful song “Who Am I” with 2face Idibia.
In 2012, he became an ambassador of iROKOtv.com, the world's largest online entertainment website propagating the gospel of Nollywood and Africa’s unique movie content to the world.
